About me

Hello, I’m Caroline Bennett, a dyslexia specialist qualified to formally diagnose the specific learning difficulty of dyslexia for children aged 7-16; additionally, I offer specialist dyslexia tuition.

I have over ten years of experience working with children with dyslexia and other learning differences. As such, I really understand the challenges of dyslexia for both children and parents. However, my focus is always on a positive narrative of dyslexia – while dyslexia can be challenging, with the right tuition, tools and support, dyslexic children can flourish. I previously worked in London where I specialised in helping dyslexic children pass challenging entrance exams to top private schools; I know first hand that with the right support academic success is entirely possible.

Whether it be for tuition or assessments, my aim is to build a strong rapport with students in a fun and supportive environment. When a student feels happy and comfortable their learning will accelerate. I see many students with low self-esteem surrounding their literacy abilities - my role is to turn this around and empower students with the confidence, skills and strategies they need to improve their literacy and to help achieve their full academic potential.

I am based in Lewes, East Sussex and work across Sussex, London and Surrey.
